Tastes like a tropical fruit salad
The Ethiopia bomb from elbgold consists of the Arabica variety Kurume. The light espresso roast has a harmonious balance between sweetness, body and fruit. The beans were prepared naturally and only processed with a very gentle supply of heat. The bomb tastes like passion fruit, tangerine, orange and melon. The note of marzipan joins the fruit notes.
Simply “bomb” describes not only the taste but also the origin of the beans
The blend takes its name from the village in which it is grown. The village of Bombe is located directly on Mount Bombe in the Harenna Forest in Sidama at an altitude of 2000m. The Yonis family works here with 350 farmers on the Ayla Washing Station. Each farmer only produces around 100kg of coffee cherries a year. For 18 days they are air-dried on African Beds and moved continuously.
Close relationship with farmers and hand-roasted blends: elbgold from Hamburg

In Hamburg, the roastery and its caffés have already achieved cult status. Direct trade is very important to elbgold. Relations with the farms are closely maintained and the coffee producers are regularly visited. Each blend of elbgold is of high quality and a play of flavors.
