The El Salvador Las Mercedes from FIRSTCRACK Roastery consists of Arabica beans of the Yellow Icatu variety. The beans were grown by Lucia de Ortiz. Together with her sister-in-law, she is the fifth generation to run Finca Las Mercedes in the Cerro El Tigre, Santiago de Maria, Usulután region. There countless Inga trees serve as shade trees for the coffee plants.
