Espresso Passalacqua Vesuvio - as powerful as Vesuvius
Strong and impressive as Mount Vesuvius is the coffee blend Vesuvio of the Neapolitan roaster Passalacqua. Just 9 kilometers from the crater rim of Mount Vesuvius, the traditional Passalacqua company roasts its coffee beans - and has been doing so for over 70 years. As typical in Italy, the company is owned by a family that has dedicated itself to roasting coffee beans with love and passion.
From high altitudes of the world to the Gulf of Naples
For its typical Neapolitan Vesuvio coffee, Torrefazione Passalacqua uses only beans from the most select growing areas of the world such as Ethiopia, Jamaica, Colombia, Brazil, Java or Vietnam. The Miscela Passalacqua Vesuvio consists of 55 % Arabica and 45 % Robusta beans. The Arabica beans come from five different origins.
Balanced aroma, lots of fire
A full harmonious aroma, little acidity and a lot of body - this characterizes the noble coffee blend Passalacqua Vesuvio. The espresso presents itself in the taste at the beginning very dominant, but is mild in the finish. Who loves southern Italian roasts, for the Passalacqua Vesuvio is like a fulminant volcanic eruption - impulsive and full of power.
