Very exclusive micro lot from Nicaragua
The Eleane Mierisch Funky Natural Espresso is a very special microlot from the El Limoncillo farm in Nicaragua. Only beans of the Ethiosar variety are picked for this 250 g pack - a hybrid variety that arose from a cross between Rume Sudan, Sarchimor and Villa Sarchi. The coffee beans were prepared in a funky natural way.
Special fermentation for a special taste experience
Funky Natural? Never heard? This means that the fermentation is pushed to the limit up to overfermentation. In this way, an extremely fruity and very unusual taste profile is achieved. The coffee cherries are fermented in plastic bags for 36 hours and then dried in direct sunlight for four days and then in a greenhouse for another 21 days.
The taste profile is as extraordinary as the fermentation of the Microlot coffee beans! Notes of wine gum are complemented by cinnamon and cascara. The noble espresso can be prepared in the espresso maker, portafilter and fully automatic machines.
