High-quality Arabica beans from Nicaragua and Honduras
The Eleane Mierisch Los Placeres Nicaragua is a decaffeinated espresso roast from the Nuremberg coffee roasting company Rösttrommel. The espresso consists of 100 % high-quality Arabica beans. The Arabica beans of the Caturra, Javainca and Red Catuai varieties were grown and picked by hand on the Mierisch family's Finca Los Placeres in Nicaragua and Honduras.
Carefully decaffeinated with the CO2 process
The exquisite Arabica beans are then decaffeinated in Bremen by the Caffein Compagnie using the gentle Co2 process. To do this, the beans are first treated with steam and then flushed with carbon dioxide. This is how the caffeine is released. After flushing, the pressure in the chamber is normalized again, the gas evaporates along with the dissolved caffeine.
The espresso roast has pleasant notes of black currants, cream and milk chocolate. The beans can be perfectly prepared in the portafilter, fully automatic machine and in the espresso maker!
