Description
Guatemala produces some of the best coffee in the world. The absolute top variety, which Vee also uses, is called Potrero. These pure Arabica coffee beans grow in the area of Antigua, the former capital of Guatemala. The combination of altitudes up to 1,800 m above sea level, regular rainfall and fertile volcanic soil provides ideal growing conditions for this coffee. The alternation of sunny days and cool nights causes the coffee cherries to ripen more slowly and refines the characteristic flavour profile. The slightly darker roast results in a full-bodied coffee with fine, lively fruit notes, at the same time with spicy aromas and hints of chocolate.
