In Tanzania, coffee is predominantly produced by smallholder farmers organised in cooperatives. These 100% Grand Cru Arabica coffee beans come from the Kilimanjaro Native Co-operative Union (KNCU), which grows this high-quality coffee on the southern slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, at up to 1500 metres above sea level. The large-bean premium coffee unfolds a soft, full-bodied richness as well as a balanced, fruity length. The fine aromas are reminiscent of apricots, peaches, cherries, but at the same time also of caramel, and harmonise with each other. A coffee that is highly appreciated by connoisseurs.
