The ECM S-Manuale 64 is a proven espresso grinder from the Heidelberg manufacturer of high-quality espresso machines and grinders. The large 64 mm grinding discs made of stainless steel reliably and quickly grind the desired amount of beans directly into the portafilter. In the Heritage Line version, the ECM S-Manuale 64 comes in a powder-coated stainless steel housing in anthracite and with the grinding degree scale and the ECM emblem on the back in copper.

The workflow of the S-Manuals 64

As a classic on-demand espresso grinder, the ECM S-Manuale 64 Heritage Line with a filled bean container, which has a capacity of 500 grams, is always ready to grind espresso beans. Elegant and classic, the S-Manuale 64 model does without frills and digital control, which ensures particularly good repairability. The grinding is controlled via the well-known contact switch with the portafilter under the ejection nose. Once the desired amount is reached, simply remove the portafilter from the rocker and the grinder will stop grinding again. A rotary control is attached to adjust the degree of grinding, which ensures precise and stepless rotation via a worm. The generous grinding degree scale, which is copper-colored on the Heritage Line, makes it easy to find the grinding degree after an adjustment, e.g. after cleaning. The collecting plate for ground coffee, which is simply fixed under the front feet, is a very clever solution.

The ECM S-Manuale 64 Heritage Line comes in the ECM-typical high-quality workmanship made in Germany. With a housing made of stainless steel and otherwise very robust components and precise manufacturing, the mill radiates pure quality, which is also noticeable in the weight of around seven kilograms. A 450 watt motor works inside, which ensures fast grinding performance at 1400 revolutions per minute and does not falter even with lighter beans.
