Coffee beans grown by the Ruffatti family
The omni roast Ruffatti El Salvador from Kalles Coffee Roastery consists of the Red Bourbon variety. These noble beans were grown at an altitude of approximately 1640 meters. The Ruffatti family has their finca on the north face of the Apaneca-Ilamatepec mountains. Climate change has made it possible to grow the Red Bourbon variety at these altitudes, where it was previously too cool.
Cheeky acids and lots of sweetness
The coffee was prepared in a very special way. The so-called "anaerobic" process is a long-term fermentation with the exclusion of air. This process gives the coffee a particularly fruity sweetness and fine, cheeky acids. Notes of chocolate and nuts harmonize with the floral character to create an overall very well-rounded taste profile.
