The Omniröstung Single from the Moyee roastery consists of 100 % high-quality Arabica beans. Since it is an omni roast, the coffee can be prepared both as a filter coffee and as an espresso. The Single is an elegant coffee that was grown in Ethiopia - more precisely in Limu. The coffee grows at extreme altitudes, making it very floral. Notes of citrus fruits and cocoa harmonize perfectly with each other. The beans were roasted at 197 °C for 27 minutes. This gives the beans a syrupy taste and aromas of cocoa, powdered sugar and jasmine.
The coffee cherries grow at an altitude of more than 1,600 meters
The coffee specialty from the Kaffa region, the birthplace of coffee, has beautiful, complex, full-bodied aromas and flavors. A fresh strong coffee with a slightly fruity aftertaste of jasmine and cocoa. Moyee is in direct contact with more than 650 farmers who grow single bean cherries in Limu, Ethiopia. The coffee plants grow at an altitude of more than 1,600 meters under the canopy of a natural forest. From November to January, the ripe, reddish berries are handpicked and processed at our own local washing station.
