THE PRESERVATION OF THE ITALIAN ESPRESSO CULTURE

Jolly Caffè considers the Italian espresso culture as a characteristic of vital importance. High attention is given to culture and tradition, which is reflected in the quality of the blends.

HIGH STANDARDS AT JOLLY CAFFÈ

Back in 1989, Jolly Caffè was one of the founders of the "Coffee Bar Roasters Consortium" (since 1992 the "Grancaffè Consortium") - a group of the eleven highest quality Italian roasters. No other roaster uses 12 green coffee varieties for its espresso blends, individually roasted of course. The highest standards also apply to the green coffees. For example, it is obligatory to harvest using the picking method, in which only ripe and intact coffee cherries are harvested. The demands on the green coffees are so high that only limited quantities of these qualities are available on the world market.

THE PURSUIT OF THE PERFECT ESPRESSO

For more than sixty years, the company has worked with passion, professionalism and tenacity in the pursuit of the ideals of authentic Italian espresso. A true national heritage that is preserved so that everyone can experience the unique and exquisite sensory experience of a true Italian espresso sip by sip.

ESPRESSO ITALIANO CERTIFICATION

But the result rewards all the efforts. The perfectly balanced aroma profile has been confirmed scientifically and in collaboration with the "Italian Institute for Espresso". The Jolly Cafè Crema roast was also the first variety to be certified "Espresso Italiano". It is even considered a reference in scientific research when asked about consumer expectations for a perfect "Espresso Italiano".
