PASCUCCI: A CHRONOLOGY OF TRADITION

The history of the Pascucci roasting company began very early - let's start from the beginning.  In 1883 Antonio Pascucci decided to devote himself to trade. In July of that year there was an agreement between Italy and England that was supposed to guarantee freedom of trade as well as navigation between the countries. Among other things, the Italian Pascucci traded colonial green coffee.

A HAMBURGER ROASTERY

In 1935, Mario Pascucci, Antonio's son, opened a family store in Monte Cerignone. In addition, Mario's brother, Dino Pascucci, has also established a store there. This consists of its own coffee bar, offering delicious coffees and sorbets.
In the fifties, the family installed the first production line. Finally, in 1975, the concentration was then completely on the production of top quality coffee.

THE FIRST ESPRESSO BLENDS WERE CREATED

Pascucci's first own blend was the Extra Bar Mild, which is still so popular today. The composition of 80% Arabica beans and 20% Robust beans is very mild but at the same time full of strength. Notes of toasted bread, chocolate and fruit harmonize perfectly with each other.

This was followed by the Golden Blend. Pascucci's Gold Caffè is made from 100% Arabica beans and is a very modern espresso. Notes of caramel, chocolate and dried fruit are courted by the exciting nuance of rosemary.

THE PASCUCCI PRINCIPLE: QUALITY, CRAFTSMANSHIP AND TRADITION

Always better, always more - Pascucci has grown! Grown in coffee blends, in experience and in popularity. In the nineties, the family decided to promote the development of coffee shops with the Pascucci brand. In 2000 the Caffè Pascucci Shop was opened, a single brand outlet.

Monte Cerignone is still the main location, as the climate keeps the humidity of the green coffees stable. The Pascucci roasting system with sound control has now been patented, and the Pascucci principle is now very successful.

A nice origin story and a great portfolio of aromatic coffee blends!

By the way: Pascucci also offers organic certified coffee! The Caffé Bio consists of organically grown Arabica beans. The taste is fruity and sweet. Notes of apricot and avocado harmonize with green almonds.
