The Classic Italian
The blend of Qualita Rossa consists of 40 % Brazilian Arabica beans and 60 % Southeast Asian Robusta beans. The coffee beans are optimally blended, resulting in a velvety sensation on the palate. The main characteristic of Lavazza Qualita Rossa is the balance of all the components that the classic espresso drinker expects from an original Italian coffee. The aroma of the beans is captivating with light fruity notes as well as hints of chocolate and caramel. The taste of Qualita Rossa is balanced and light-bodied. The African Robusta beans lend body and chocolaty aromas, while the natural Arabica beans from the Brazilian highlands lend more body and sweet aromas. The crema of this espresso is fine and caramel-coloured.
