The Bendinelli roasting company was founded in 1979 in Pacengo di Lazise (VR) on the shores of Lake Garda. Sergio Bendinelli worked in the coffee industry before deciding to set up his own production. In search of the perfect espresso, he first used a small roasting machine, which allowed him to develop the first coffee blends and start a small production for the catering industry.

HIGH QUALITY ESPRESSO BLENDS AND COFFEE ROASTING IN THE TRADITIONAL WAY

The careful selection of green coffees is based on many years of experience and knowledge. Only in this way can the production of the excellent espresso blends be guaranteed to be of the highest quality. In addition, Bendinelli has implemented a modern quality management system to continuously guarantee the quality of its products and to deliver on its promise of unique flavor quality. Bendinelli's bean blends are roasted in a classic drum roaster at low temperature. This guarantees the full development of the aromas of each coffee bean. The roasting is carried out by qualified roasting masters who, with experience and expertise, can assess the roasting process of each blend. The result is Bendinelli espressi with blends such as BENDINELLI ARABICA Gourmet and BENDINELLI ARMONIOSO.

EXPANSION OF COFFEE PRODUCTION

The success of the company was achieved shortly after its foundation. The coffee blends are unique and customers were won over by product quality as well as coffee passion. With the first success came the expansion. New premises in Affi in the province of Verona offered better conditions to accommodate a newer and more efficient roasting plant. The new premises were used to invest in further coffee expertise, and as a result Bendinelli has its own sensory and training center for coffee.

BENDINELLI IN THE WORLD

With an increased production capacity, the foreign market now opened up to the roastery. With Enrico Bendinelli joining the management of the family business, the export share of coffee was further increased and set in motion the next wave for innovation. Today, the Bendinelli brand has grown beyond Italy and distributes its proven recipes throughout Europe. The fact that Bendinelli understands the craft is shown, among other things, by the fact that the Espresso Bendinelli 100 % Arabica Gourmet has been marked for the quality by the international competition "Superior Taste Award" in 2023!
