THE ORIGIN OF ALLOS

In 1974, Walter Lang founded an idyllic self-sufficient farm in Drebber, Lower Saxony. The goal was to feed the family as naturally and unadulteratedly as possible - honey by hand from his own bees and the production of the first fruit slices helped Walter Lang achieve this and inspired followers of the newly emerging natural food movement for a long time. Years later, Allos discovered the hitherto unknown superfood amaranth and the revolutionary agave syrup for the organic retail trade, thus setting milestones in the development of natural foods.

FOOD SHOULD BE NATURAL AND UNADULTERATED

Even today, Allos acts in all areas from the deepest conviction, just as it was exemplified by the founder. In addition to cultivation, the original organic concept also includes the production of food in harmony with nature. The result is products that taste delicious and that you can enjoy with a clear conscience because there is nothing in them that does not belong in sustainable enjoyment. Except for coconut, only ingredients from European cultivation are used. Allos lives and loves organic, nature and what they do - and you can taste it!

PASSION, CARE & NATURAL FOOD

Allos' incentive is to keep the ecosystem intact and that everything that is processed in their products comes from nature. Therefore, they rely 100 % on green electricity, are committed to opposing genetic engineering and glyphosate, and to biodiversity. In 2019, Allos received the B Corp certification and thus an award as a company that does not seek to maximize profits, but uses the power of entrepreneurship to solve social and environmental problems.

THINKING BIO AHEAD AND DEVELOPING IT FURTHER

Allos sets itself strict rules. For example, according to EU regulations, organic products may contain 49 additives; Allos uses only six. And only those that occur naturally and are indispensable in the processing of their products, such as pectin in the gelation of fruit spreads. Where palm oil is used, it is from sustainable organic cultivation and RSPO certified (Roundtable of Sustainable Palm Oil). Every single ingredient is listed, although this is not required by law and is common practice in the food industry. The production facilities are IFS certified and thus comply with the International Featured Standards Food certification Higher Level.

The plant drinks are produced in our own factory in Italy. A 100 % closed loop with the goal of creating 0 % waste. The gentle processing of ingredients, the use of renewable energies and sustainable packaging materials are a matter of course for Allos. Certified and delicious - that is the claim for real Allos enjoyment.
