Compared to Arabica coffee beans, high proportions of Robusta beans ensure a particularly firm crema and a full-bodied texture of the espresso. Caffè Borbone is a roasting company founded in Naples that remains true to its roots and continues to roast its coffee in the southern Italian metropolis to this day. The medium roasting level of the Miscela Rossa gives the Robusta beans a delicious taste with little acidity and a pleasant sweetness. The Caffè Borbone Miscela Rossa tastes particularly good, especially in the portafilter machine as a simple espresso, or combined with milk to make a cappuccino or latte macchiato. However, it also tastes truly Italian from the moka pot or the stovetop pot, which is usually used at home in Italy.
