Coffee blend of 50 % caffeinated and 50 % decaffeinated coffee beans
The Coffee Circle Low Caf consists partly of caffeinated coffee beans and decaffeinated beans from various growing regions, such as Colombia, Peru and Ethiopia, where the coffee beans are grown and processed 100 % organically. Low Decaf is roasted in the Coffee Circle roasting house in Berlin, where the roasting masters always make sure that the sweetness and aroma of the decaffeinated filter coffee can develop optimally. This is achieved by roasting both ingredients separately. Preparation recommendation for the Low Caf: In the classic coffee machine or for all common Pour Over methods, such as with the Hario V60 filter or the Aeropress. The taste of caramel and almond can be tasted and enjoyed in the cup.
Organically grown
Coffee Circle's Low Caf comes from three different countries of origin: Colombia, Peru and Ethiopia. The Ethiopian decaffeinated Buna Dimaa coffee comes from the Bore Dinsera cooperative. The cooperative consists of 260 coffee farming families and is located 2050 metres above sea level. Sierra Nevada coffee from Colombia comes from the Coocafe cooperative, from which Coffee Circle has been sourcing coffee since 2016 and has thus been able to build up a long trading relationship. Coffee from Peru: The beans are also grown and processed ecologically by the Yakumama cooperative. The caffeinated part of the Low Caf consists of Sierra Nevada coffee from Colombia.
