Cold Drip Procedure
The new 2-in-1 Cold Brew Dripster combines both the Cold Drip and Full Immersion processes in one convenient product. In the Cold Drip process, ice-cold water is added drop by drop to the ground coffee. With the help of the valve of the Dripster, the optimal speed of one drop per second can be reached and maintained with ease. The brewing process takes between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the selected flow rate and amount of water.
Full Immersion method
For the full immersion method, the enclosed metal filter is inserted into the water tank and the valve is completely closed. The ground coffee goes directly into the tank and is infused with cold water. For complete extraction, the coffee is given 18-24 hours to steep, which ideally takes place overnight in the refrigerator. After successful extraction, the Cold Brew can be released through the valve into the glass beaker, while the metal filter reliably filters out interfering coffee sediments, leaving behind excellent Cold Brew coffee.
