Here's a useful tip: Putting a few drops of water on the coffee beans is enough to reduce static electricity. For example, use the handle of a spoon or a small spray bottle to moisten the beans before grinding.

What the Fellow Ode Gen 1 can do

The launch of the Fellow Ode has garnered a remarkable response: a single-dose grinder with professional 64mm burrs at a reasonable price for home use has delighted coffee lovers around the world. The design and operation of the grinder could not be simpler. The Fellow Ode was developed as a single-dosing grinder to grind individual portions of beans. The Fellow Ode makes grinding coffee beans easy and simple: simply pour in the correctly weighed beans, place the magnetically attached cup, press the button and wait, then tap the lever and you're done. The degree of grinding can be adjusted via the large wheel on the front and thanks to the PID-controlled motor, the Ode grinds evenly. When all the beans have been ground, the coffee grinder switches off automatically. With its standard 64 mm burrs, the Ode grinds quickly and quietly, especially when compared to other coffee grinders with smaller burrs or conical burrs. Professional coffee fans appreciate the Fellow Ode as a reliable coffee grinder and have exchanged the supplied grinding discs for much more expensive ones due to their quality. The new Gen 2 Brew Burrs

The biggest change that Fellow introduced to the Fellow Ode Gen 2 compared to the Gen 1 are the new burrs. While the first generation burrs with a fineness of 500 microns could not grind fine enough for some AeroPress and stovetop jug recipes, the new burr geometry finally allows a fineness of 250 microns. Added to this is the new two-stage design, which ensures particularly even particle distribution. The result is a particularly pleasing grind, which easily forgives inaccuracies in preparation and suboptimal grind settings. The result in the cup is a particularly balanced coffee with a slightly fuller body and an emphasis on sweetness.

Installing the grinding discs is that easy
