Single origin with a fruity character
The Ruby Hills filter coffee is a single origin with a fresh character and great, fruity acids. It's FIRSTCRACK Roastery's favorite filter coffee! The Arabica beans are of the Catimor 528 variety. They were grown at Ruby Hills Farm in Mogok by Thiha Gyawalie. Thiha is one of the youngest coffee farmers in Myanmar and produces in Shan State. The great quality of its beans has received multiple awards. Thiha was also the first coffee farmer in Myanmar to work purely organically on his farm - he also received an award for this, winning the 2018 Myanmar Coffee Competition.
Notes of honey and orange blossom harmonize
After the coffee cherries are picked at Thiha's farm, they are pulped and then fermented in tanks for 48 hours. After three weeks of roasting in the sun, they are roasted by hand in Berlin by FIRSTCRACK. In terms of taste, the filter coffee has great notes of orange blossoms, honey and peaches.
