The women's cooperative in Myanmar
FIRSTCRACK obtains raw coffee beans for the roasting of the Myanmar Shan Lady from the women's cooperative "The Lady" in Ywa Ngan, Shan State in Myanmar. This is where Su Nadar Linn runs her father's coffee farm, where Arabica coffee plants are grown and her cherries are processed. The cooperative consists of close cooperation with other farmers in the region. After the Red Catuai coffee cherries have been harvested by hand, they are washed and processed on site.
Roasted in Berlin
FIRSTCRACK has developed a special roasting profile for the high-quality green coffee from Myanmar with great attention to detail. This is how the characteristic taste of the Red Catuai coffee beans and their notes of origin come into their own. The result is a delicious coffee with a medium degree of roast, the taste of which is reminiscent of chocolate, nougat and caramel, as well as cherries.
