When Italian Giuseppe Drago was disappointed to discover in the 1980s that he could not buy a really good espresso in North Rhine-Westphalia, he unceremoniously founded the Mocambo coffee roasting company in Radevormwald in 1985 to produce it himself. From a small, passionately run one-man business, Mocambo developed into one of the largest coffee roasting companies in Europe, delighting with its high-quality coffee blends and exquisite aromas.
