THE HISTORY OF ESSSE CAFFÈ
The roastery was founded in 1979 by Francesco Segafredo with the aim of offering excellent coffee that ideally represents the Italian espresso concept. Today, the company stands for tradition and passion. The result of the constant search for improvement is that the company was one of the first in Italy to be awarded a quality certificate (UNI EN ISO 9002). This award not only emphasises the company's successful pursuit of excellence, but also reflects customer satisfaction. Since the 2000s, the roastery has also been operating internationally and is now represented in over 60 countries. Essse Caffè has also been certified since 2002: modern technologies, environmentally friendly packaging and a commitment to reducing harmful substances have enabled the company to obtain ISO 14001 environmental management system certification. Since 2005, the roastery has provided coffee lovers with a training centre.
