LA BRASILIANA: A COFFEE STORY OF INVENTION AND PASSION
PASSION FOR COFFEE: TORREFAZIONE LA BRASILIANA
The brand La Brasiliana was founded and developed by the Govoni family. Initial marketing efforts of the grandfather Carlo quickly led to success. The coffee was roasted directly in the store behind a window. Passersby stopped to watch the roasting process with curiosity. The wonderful espresso aroma spread through the streets of the city center. Shortly after its founding, Carlo Govoni's children developed the first coffee blends for the city's bars. The La Brasiliana logo was also coined by Carlo's children. After developing their first proprietary blends, the siblings hired a young African-American hotel boy, named Ailù. The boy sold the coffee at the front door in Ferrara, quickly making the roastery better known. A painter portrayed the boy at work and thus the company symbol was born.
PRESERVING THE ITALIAN COFFEE CULTURE
La Brasiliana is a family business and upholds family values. New technologies allow for more efficient structures, yet artisanal espresso is still alive and well. New times, new challenges - and yet La Brasiliana roastery is and remains rooted in Italian coffee culture.
For decades, La Brasiliana espresso has enchanted the palates of Italians. Openness and transparency is the recipe for success, as no secret is made about the compositions of the different blends.
THE HIGHEST DEMANDS ON QUALITY
The beans for roasting are selected very carefully, and the quality of La Brasiliana blends is high. Appearance, smell and taste must meet the requirements. Central America, South America and Asia are among the origins of the selected green coffees used by La Brasiliana in its blends. Exclusive recipes, such as LA BRASILANA MARFISA as well as LA BRASILIANA ROSSO EXTRA, are passed down from generation to generation and enriched with experience over time. The focus is always on the pursuit of perfect enjoyment, freshness, the highest product quality, state-of-the-art process and management, and transparency of the company. Passion, knowledge and experience are the central key factors for the entrepreneurial success of La Brasiliana.
