MOYEE COFFEE: RADICALLY GOOD COFFEE - RADICAL IMPACT
The Dutch company Moyee Coffee was founded in 2012 for one reason: to provide a decent standard of living for the people who grow and harvest our coffee.
Currently, only 2% of the enormous profit from the coffee industry ends up with the farmers, the rest in the pockets of a few large companies. Guido van Staveren van Dijk, founder of Moyee Coffee, does not want to support this injustice of the coffee industry, but wants to make a positive difference.
THE FAIRCHAIN PRINCIPLE
Moyee has given its principle of production a new name: FairChain. This signifies the fair conditions along the entire supply chain of its coffees.
To ensure that the farmers really do receive fair payment, Moyee has the green coffee washed, dried, roasted and packaged in its country of origin. The coffee supply chain is thus fairly redistributed - the result is a much higher wage, an increase in living standards and the creation of jobs in the region. It is guaranteed that 50% of the value created stays in the coffee regions.
After great success with own roasting plants in Ethiopia and Kenya, the FairChain model will soon be applied in Colombia.

THE COFFEES FROM MOYEE
Moyee's coffee beans all come from high-quality growing regions and are certified organic. The assortment ranges from a noble Single Origin with fruity-floral notes and a hint of cocoa to blends with an intense taste of chocolate and caramel. By the way: All coffees from Moyee are Specialty Coffees and therefore a real pleasure and pure enjoyment that will delight you!
VERSATILE COMMITMENT
Moyee sees it as its duty to engage in social, ecological and economic activities in many ways.
This includes the tree planting project introduced in 2019, in order to sustainably reforest the forests where the farmer:s live with coffee plants and be able to harvest more. At the same time, this makes an important contribution to Moyee's major goal of a net zero emissions balance by 2030.
Coffee is grown under organic standards and with the use of organic fertilizers, obtained through judicious composting. For a true circular economy, even the fruit residues of the coffee cherries are processed into pectin. Also encouraging: many women work on the coffee plantations, and female coffee farmers receive special support.
AN EXCELLENT B-CORP COMPANY
In 2014, Moyee Coffee received the B-Corp company award - confirmation of its great social and environmental commitment. In 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022, they managed to shine in the "Best For The World: Community" category of all B-Corp companies!
Moyee's coffees also carry the Rainforest Alliance seal.
