This is what the Vergnano company has believed since its beginnings in 1882, when Dominico Vergnano founded a small general store in Chieri, a small town at the foot of the Turin hills. The Vergnano family quickly discovered their passion for coffee and began roasting and selling coffee. The business grew. Soon the family owned stores in the cities of Turin, Alba and Chieri. In the 1930s, the family acquired its own coffee plantation in Kenya.

The Vergnano coffee line is characterized by a perfect blend of tradition and innovation. The always high quality of the blends succeeds thanks to an extraordinary process, as well as the right choice of raw materials. The green coffees are roasted at Vergnano in a traditional and slow way. Depending on the origin, the coffees are also roasted separately, which allows to obtain the desired degree of roasting.

Since 1996 the business, now in its fourth generation, has been run by brothers Carlo and Franco Vergnano. Since 1999, Caffè Vergnano has been living the vision that improving the quality of the environment is synonymous with a better quality of life. In the course of this, the company introduced internationally recognized quality and environmental management standards.

Caffè Vergnano, despite its high level of professionalism, maintains the advantages of a traditional company and at the same time is one of the most dynamic producers and pioneers in the Italian coffee industry. The oldest roasting company in Italy is today one of the most important and largest in Italy. The company exports to many different countries and does so with extremely positive results. Last year, the 100th Vergnano concept store opened in Singapore. So wherever you are, you can enjoy espresso like in an Italian bar.
