Effortless cleaning for the espresso machine

With the cafetto EVO® espresso machine cleaner, you get the ultimate cleaner for your espresso and portafilter machine. In addition, it is also possible to rinse the brewing grill with the cleaner. The cleaner has a unique formula that dissolves quickly and rinses freely. Coffee oils, coffee grounds and stains are a thing of the past thanks to EVO® Espresso Machine Cleaner. The taste of the coffee can also be improved by regular and thorough cleaning.

Free from phosphates and chlorine

The cafetto espresso machine cleaner is free from genetically modified organisms, i.e. GMO-free. The cleaner degrades quickly and is free of phosphates and chlorine. Always keep the espresso machine cleaner container closed when not in use and pay attention to the warnings on the manufacturer's packaging. Follow the enclosed instructions for cleaning.

How to backwash the brew group

1. Remove the filter from the portafilter and replace it with a dummy filter.

2. For daily cleaning, place 1 teaspoon of EVO® machine cleaner in the blind filter and insert the portafilter into the brew group as if brewing espresso. If the machine is cleaned less often, use 2 teaspoons.

3. Start the cycle and let it run for 10 seconds to allow the cleaner to dissolve.

4. Stop cycle and leave on for 10 seconds.

5. Start and stop the cycle 4 more times - run for 10 seconds, stop for 10 seconds.

6. Remove the portafilter from the brew group and rinse it well under the jet of water from the brew group. Turn off the machine.

7. Replace the portafilter with the blank filter, start and stop the cycle 10 times - run for 5 seconds, stop for 2 seconds to ensure a thorough rinse. Remove blind filter and insert normal filter.

8. Brew a single espresso to refill the machine with water and discard.

Method of cleaning filters and portafilters:

1. Soak the portafilter and filter in 500ml of hot water with 2 teaspoons of cafetto -EVO®

2. Soak machine cleaner for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly under running hot water.
