Monsooned Malabar
The India Malabar Monsoon by Caffè Roen is a single origin espresso made from the beans for which Indian coffee cultivation is known. The 100% Arabica beans undergo monsooning, a natural processing method that allows the harvested coffee beans to mature in special coffee storage facilities. In these camps, the beans are protected from direct monsoon rains, but are exposed to the warm and humid monsoon winds.
Spices, malt and nuts
This special preparation causes the coffee beans to swell and thus changes their sensory properties. The result is a taste-intensive Arabica variety with a strong and long-lasting taste. With notes of spices, malt and nuts, this single origin knows how to delight its fans. When prepared as an espresso, it develops a very full crema and a distinctive, almost syrupy body.
