Tamping is an important step in espresso preparation. The evenly powerful and vertical compression of the ground coffee ensures reproducible good results. The matching tamping mat from COYOOCO provides the necessary safety when tamping and protects both the portafilter and the worktop. The non-slip silicone prevents slipping on the smooth worktop. With a depth of 15 cm and a width of 20 cm, the tamper mat offers enough space for comfortable tamping and does not take up too much space on the work surface. The angled shape with 2 cm lower edge protection ensures that the tamping mat stays firmly in place. On the other hand, the silicone also protects the edge of the worktop from signs of wear. The mat also conveniently catches the small amounts of ground coffee that fall off when tamping.
