Eurekas Distribution Tool

The walnut version of the Eureka Leveler is a distribution tool that is used to evenly distribute coffee grounds before tamping. The way it works is very simple: The leveler is placed in the sieve and by turning the wave-shaped tool, the ground coffee is spread into a perfectly even shape with a smooth surface. By using a leveler, the risk of so-called channeling can be reduced. This avoids the water channeling its way through weak spots in the espresso puck, taking the path of least resistance, through which much more water flows than through the rest of the puck. Channeling leads to uneven extraction, so the espresso tastes sour and bitter at the same time. A distribution tool like this one from Eureka is an effective remedy.

Easily customizable

The Eureka Leveler is particularly easy to adjust to achieve the desired results depending on the sieve, dosage and type of coffee. The immersion depth can be set or read with millimeter precision using a scale on the side. Incidentally, after levelling, it is much easier to rope vertically because the surface is already flat. In walnut wood, the leveler goes particularly well with machines that have walnut applications and really looks good on the espresso bar!
