This excellently balanced coffee is the ideal everyday companion and goes well with any occasion. Exciting roasted aromas and delicate nuances of dark chocolate are ideally brought out by gentle roasting and are finely balanced by subtle acids. The high proportion of Robusta beans ensures a strikingly lush and velvety crema, which also flatters the palate of every gourmet in the long term.
Various preparation possibilities
Due to its grind, the Ionia Espresso Casa is ideally suited for all common preparation methods. Whether in a fully automatic machine or in a classic portafilter machine, it always delivers delicious aromas and an espresso with a beautiful crema. Espresso Casa can also be used for coffee creations that are prepared with milk, for example for a delicious cappuccino or as the basis for a tasty latte macchiato.
Espresso with tradition
The Espresso Casa comes from the traditional Sicilian roastery Ionia. The owners have been pursuing their passion for perfect espressos for over 60 years. They always select the optimal beans for their coffees and create a balanced blend. The high Robusta content of 70%, for example, gives the Espresso Casa a beautifully dense and fawn-coloured crema. Roasted at a medium degree of roast, it develops a full body with hardly any acidity. The flavour is particularly intense, persistent on the palate and contains roasted aromas and nuances of dark chocolate. A great espresso with a medium caffeine content.
