Blend of Arabica and Robusta
The Porto Blend Organic from North Coast Coffee Roastery is a composition of 70% highland Arabicas from Risaralda in Colombia and 30% Robustas from South India. The Robusta gives the blend earthy and nutty components. The Arabica beans provide a pleasant sweetness with notes of red grape, cocoa and marzipan.
The beans come from certified organic cultivation. The Robusta beans increase the caffeine content of the blend. The espresso roast is strong, low in acidity and ideal for the portafilter and the fully automatic machine.
