Reneka espresso machine - a special machine

The Reneka Family Home 1G is a truly unique portafilter machine that sets itself apart from comparable machines in a number of respects. First of all, its elegant design, designed by Alexander Schulz, catches the eye. The attached side panels, the large feet and above all the levers and pressure gauges on the sloping control panel leave a prestigious impression. In particular, the levers and instruments in combination with the railing on the cup rack are reminiscent of a motor yacht. The great technical feature, however, lies in the Aroma Perfect brewing group with automatic tamping.

Technical finesse

In the interior of the Reneka Family Home 1G is the classic technology of a two-circuit system, refined with contemporary innovation. As a two-circuit system with a heat exchanger or thermosiphon, the Family Home 1G is suitable for dispensing espresso and frothing milk at the same time. In contrast to dual-boiler machines, it manages with just one boiler in which water is kept ready for the steam supply. The water for the espresso is fed through the steam boiler and heated to the right temperature.

In contrast to many two-circuit machines that use the classic Faema E61 brew group, the Family Home 1G has its own brew group from Reneka. This unique and patented Aroma-Perfect brew group scores above all with a special feature: the machine tamps automatically and always perfectly! In contrast to all other portafilter machines, there is no need to tamp before clamping the portafilter. Instead, the portafilter, filled with ground coffee, is clamped and the brewing group does the rest. When you start a draw using the small toggle switch in the middle of the machine, the brewing group begins to compress the ground coffee using spring bearings and the water pressure. Then she gets the espresso as usual. The automatic tamping is especially an advantage when several, and also less experienced baristas are preparing espresso and an additional tamper is therefore not required with the Family Home 1G.
