AEROPRESS: COFFEE PREPARATION AMERICAN STYLE
Aerobie Inc, the maker of the AeroPress coffee maker, originally became successful by developing sports toys. Founder Alan Adler expanded his product line over the years and ventured into the housewares category in 2005 with the AeroPress coffee maker. He intensively studied the coffee brewing process to find out what variables affect the taste of brewed coffee. After finding out all the requirements for making the ideal coffee, he designed the manual coffee press that met all these requirements.
EASE OF USE COMBINED WITH CUSTOMIZED RESULTS
The AeroPress is made in the USA and brews American-style coffee through a filtration process. Once all the ideal conditions are in place, it easily optimizes all brewing variables. The result is a rich, aromatic coffee with little bitterness and low acidity. The length of the brewing time and the level of temperature of the infused water influence the number of bitter compounds that are produced. Thus, the AeroPress has earned the excellent reviews for the delicious taste of the coffee it brews.
A FAVORITE AMONG COFFEE COFFEE LOVERS
Not only the price but also its ease of use and speed of cleaning up convince. It is often used in the home kitchen and is equally suitable for use when traveling, as it is very light, compact and durable. Nowadays, the AeroPress is a favorite among coffee lovers. By changing the adjustment screws, it offers a customized taste experience with a full-bodied result in a short brewing time. The finer the coffee is ground, the harder it is to press down the plunger.
In this process, hardly any bitter substances get into the coffee, as the aromatic substances can dissolve more quickly than with a coarse grind. For a very special result, we recommend switching from the classic to the inverse brewing method. With this brewing method, the coffee maker is set upside down, i.e. the Aeropress is set up with the filter side facing upwards.
