MILLE SOLI: PURE HARMONY
Mille Soli espresso has been triple roasted over an open flame using a special process. The roaster's years of experience and tradition are the basis of his work. Mille Soli is a decidedly mild espresso with plenty of body.
PASSION AND TEMPERAMENT
The roastery is characterized by the passion and temperament of the Italian island of Sicily. The range is based on the blends
MILLE SOLI CAFFÈ ESPRESSO
and
MILLE SOLI CAFFÈ CREMA
and the organic range
MILLE SOLI BIO CAFFÈ ESPRESSO
, which make the brand stand out. The Mille Soli Caffè Espresso is harmonious, fruity-acidic with hints of chocolaty aromas. The Caffè Crema, on the other hand, is a real all-rounder, ideal for any coffee speciality, with a particularly smooth and round taste. The Organic Caffè Espresso brings intense flavors to your cup, with nuances of dark berries and fine chocolate.
TRADITIONAL ROASTING PROCESS
Mille Soli coffee is triple roasted. In the traditional drum roasting process, the beans are gas-fired roasted. Gently and by hand - just like 100 years ago. The roasting process is interrupted three times, so that the beans cool down each time and can then be roasted longer than usual. Years of experience are the basis of this completely new concept, which allows the beans to roast longer. At the beginning of the roasting process, the residual moisture is removed from the green coffee beans with a five-minute roast. The first result shows the coffee beans in honey-yellow colors. Their aroma already hints at the later coffee flavors. After a cooling air-mist bath, the coffee beans are further roasted at about 120 °C to 205 °C in the 2nd roasting. The beans turn hazelnut brown and already smell of freshly roasted coffee. After a further cooling phase, the beans acquire their beautiful chocolate color. Many years of experience, tradition and Sicilian passion are the ingredients of the extraordinary product quality.
BACK TO THE ORIGINS OF SICILY
With the takeover of Mille Soli by the international distribution company Caffè Cultura GmbH, the company decided to return to the old roasting masters and to preserve the long-standing knowledge and traditions of the homeland. In addition to the well-known Mille Soli brand, the MariaSole brand also belongs to the company and rounds out the company's coffee diversity.
