The Decaf Espresso from Torrefaktum consists of 100% Arabica beans. These come from Honduras. They were grown organically there. The espresso is medium roasted and has only very fine, light acids. Overall, the taste is mild and harmonious. Notes of chocolate make for a great aroma.

Gently decaffeinated

The Arabica beans of Torrefaktum's Decaf Espresso have been gently decaffeinated so that the flavours remain expressive. They were decaffeinated using the so-called Swiss Water Decaf process. This involves treating the beans with water and temperature in three stages until the caffeine, acid and starch are removed from the coffee. The caffeine is then removed in a filtering process. All the other ingredients are retained.
